ASUS Transformer Prime UK Release Date & Price Leaked :Jan 2012

We can say that we’ve been too focused on the Galaxy Nexus these past few days that we somehow forgot that there are still a lot of good stuffs that we need to cover. Speaking of which, the ASUS Transformer Prime has recently been rumoured to hit the US shelves this Monday, December 19th. But it seems that ASUS also announced that the said tablet will also be coming to the British Isles.

That is right folks! The 10.1 inch slate will be made available in the UK this coming January and will be sold for £499. And guess what? It seems that ASUS decided not to let go of the tablet by itself. It will be sold together with its keyboard dock without any additional cost. Isn’t that great? But wait there’s more! It was also stated that the said release will only be intended for the WiFi model. The company did not state any details regarding the release of the tablet’s 3G variant in the UK.

Also, we did mention in our previous post that we spotted the Transformer Prime at Clove. The tablet got its own product page where customers can easily place their pre-orders and have the slate delivered sometime within next month. If all goes well, then your ‘mates’ can definitely rejoice for they will also be given the chance to get their own quad core powered slates.

As for those who are in the US, the tablet can be yours for $500 while the keyboard dock will be sold for a separate price of $150. You can choose between the tablet’s two elegant variants, Amethyst Grey and Champagne Gold.

The ASUS Transformer Prime flaunts a heap of features. Thus, we won’t be surprised if the slate would make it as one of the hottest items of the year 2012.
