Acer Iconia W700 Windows 8 Tablet Announced: Specs, Price Listed

Microsoft Windows 8 is yet to be launched but manufacturers are racing head-to-head in using the platform for their respective new gadgets and PC releases. After AT&T with their Nokia phone, HP with their laptop, and Dell with their desktop PC’s, Acer has cornered the tablets with their very own Windows 8 offering via the sleek and slim Acer Iconia W700. The cool new tablet is set to be unveiled toe-to-toe with Microsoft’s latest platform on October 26, 2012.

Acer Iconia W700 will come in 3 versions, all of them powered by the highly efficient Intel Core processors. The tablets are guaranteed to be fully  functional for the always-on-the-go professionals. Each will come with a dock and a keyboard, as they completely assure users of true PC performance on a tablet.

The Three versions to be unveiled are the Acer Iconia W700-6691, Acer Iconia W700-6465, and Acer Iconia W700-6607. The tablet’s price will range from $749 to almost a thousand. The three devices will be packed with the same powerful specifications, only differing in their solid-state drive capacity. Both the Acer Iconia W700-6691 and the Acer Iconia W700-6607 will be equipped with a 64GB SSD while the Acer Iconia W700-6465 is set to come with a bigger 128GB SSD.
