Sony may not have introduced or revealed anything new at the MWC 2013 this year except the Xperia Z tablet that created a buzz with its water-proof feature but it looks like Sony has something else in its kitty. Yes, if sources are to be believed, a tipster has leaked some specifications at the Xperia blog. According to leak, Sony is planning to launch its new handset apparently called the Sony Xperia C670X for the moment somewhere during the mid of this year.

Xperia C670X

The new Sony Xperia C670X is packed with some very interesting features. To begin with, it will be powered by a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor along with an Adreno 320 graphics processor that will make it a tough competitor for the HTC One series. It will feature a 4.8 inch high definition screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will also have 2GB RAM and 32 GB in-built storage. Based on android 4.2 jelly bean the handset will have a 13 megapixel rear camera powered by Sony’s Exmor RS camera sensor.

Having a quick glance at these specs, the device looks quite similar to the Xperia 7 with a slight difference in screen size and on-board storage. There has been no indication that whether the Sony Xperia C670X will also have the water-proof feature or not. There has been no formal announcement at the moment regarding its specifications, price or availability. We will keep you updated as soon as more information is available.
