Speaking of Affordably-priced Android tablets, there’s one from ZTE that will soon be made available via Sprint. The tablet will be called as the ZTE Optik and will be part of the carrier’s ever-growing family of 3G enabled devices. But it is the slate’s cheap price tag that caught our attention most. Packed with decent specs, the 7-inch tablet can be yours for as low as $99. The price of the slate can definitely go head-to-head with Ainol’s Novo 7 Paladin. Still, the latter has the advantage of being the first tablet to run on Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The ZTE Optik may not be powered by ICS but you can definitely rely on its Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. It can also take pride of its 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor that goes alongside with its 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and micro SD card slot for external storage. You can also depend on the tablet’s 4000 mAh power cell that can make the slate last for hours.
We’re not quite sure if the tablet would be offered with HD resolution but it is very likely that it will be flaunting its capacitive touch display with a maximum screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. For a budget-friendly Tablet that you can avail for less than a hundred dollars, it can already be considered as a bonus that you’ll be able to get a built-in snapper for low-quality shots. But guess what? You’d be delighted to know that the ZTE Optik will be proving you with not one but two shooters! The one at the front will be have a 2MP sensor while the one at the rear will be equipped with 5MP sensor. Do expect that Sprint would require you to sign for a new two-year contract.
Can’t wait to get one? You will need to wait until the tablet goes on sale this 11th of March. If you aren’t new to online shopping, then you can order one starting this February 5.
