Verizon LG Spectrum (Revolution 2) Releasing on 19th January

Remember that leaked LG Spectrum photo that we once showed to you? Well, it seems that you need not wait for long to witness its first ever public debut. Guess what? We have heard from a recent leak that the 4.5 inch Android Smartphone will indeed be coming to Verizon Wireless. You’d better not let your guard down for the smartphone will most likely be out on the 19th of this month.

Furthermore, there seems to be a concrete proof that can attest that the phone will be part of Big Red’s premium line-up of LTE global handsets. Aside from the leaked rendered photo, there’s a full specs sheet that is currently causing a buzz in the web. Also, it is believed that the long-rumored LG Revolution 2 (now known as the LG Spectrum) will be showcased at next week’s 2012 CES.

Specs wise, the phone will be flaunting its True HD IPS Gorilla Glass display. And speaking of HD, LG wants to emphasize that the screen’s pixel arrangement will be based on Real Stripe and not on PenTile. The LG Spectrum will be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread that will be layered by LG’s custom UI.

Apart from the above specs, the handset can also take pride of its 1.5GHz Dual Core Snapdragon S3 Processor, 8 mega pixels rear camera, 1080p HD video capture, 1.3 mega pixels front camera, 1GB of Memory, 4GB of built-in storage, 16GB of micro SD card storage (pre-installed), 4G LTE connectivity, Mobile HotSpot, Bluetooth 3.0, Swype and 1830 mAh battery. You can even stream a bunch of exclusive HD contents from Netflix HD, ESPN ScoreCenter with HD video, etc.

There’s no clear word that can confirm the phone’s price yet. But we’re guessing that its price will fall somewhere in between $249 and $299 along with a new two year contract. We won’t be surprised if Verizon will set the LG Spectrum’s off-contract price to $649.
