Samsung Officially Announces Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus


Samsung has officially launched another Galaxy tablet device named as Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus that pictures were leaked online few days ago. Basically it is an updated version of the 7-inch Galaxy Tab that was the very first tablet from the Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus runs the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system instead of the Froyo that was used in the original version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features the Exynos chipset with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and it is available in two models of 16GB and 32GB. It has a 7-inch PLS LCD with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and it runs the Honeycomb. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is equipped with a 3 megapixel rear camera with LED flash that has the ability to record HD videos at 720p and 2 megapixel front camera to utilize the video calling service.

Other features include A-GPS, Location-based service with Google Maps, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Digital Compass, Proximity, Photo Editor, Video Maker, 30-pin dock connector port, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and built-in 4,000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will also come with Google Mobile Service, Samsung Hub, and Mobile Office.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will hit the Austrian and Indonesian market at the end of the October and then other parts of the world. Unfortunately there no pricing information available at the time, but once Samsung announce the price tags, we’ll definitely let our readers know.
