The year 2012 will surely be filled with lots of leaks and rumors. Of course, that doesn’t exempt the Samsung Galaxy S 3 that we once told you before. If you can recall, we did post something about a rumored Galaxy S2 successor but it turned out that the so-called rendered photo was a mere product of one’s imagination.
But this time seems to be different. The photo that you are seeing below could be the very first snapshot of the Samsung Galaxy S III. None can confirm the authenticity of this image though. But from what we have heard, the EXIF of the photo indicates that it was taken from the camera of the Samsung GT-I9500. It can be noticed that the model of the smartphone used is higher than the Samsung Galaxy S 2 and the Galaxy Nexus. We may not be able to conclude that the said model will be released as the Galaxy S 3 but we can’t also help but think of the possibility. Moreover, the EXIF shows that the image was captured from one of Samsung’s centers in Korea. The resolution of the image falls at 5MP.
Who knows? Anyone could have faked the image. Also, it doesn’t seem logical for a Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone to be equipped with a 5 mega pixel rear snapper. Even so, this is just the beginning. In fact, there were rumors stating that the new handset will be making its very first public appearance at the 2012 Mobile World Congress. The said event will be held next month.
Specs wise, the Samsung Galaxy S 2 successor has been leaked to sport a quad core Exynos Processor. It will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich alongside with its 720p Super AMOLED display and 2GB of RAM. And just like its predecessors, the new Android smartphone will be layered with a custom TouchWiz UI.

I hope they can get the feel of it smaller, and the batter like a little better, other than that, looks good.
