Spring is fast approaching. But before you get too excited, you might as well as take a sneak peek of Motorola’s newest handsets. Dubbed as the Motorola MOTOLUXE and Motorola DEFY MINI, these two new mobile phones will be greeting you this forthcoming spring season.
Okay, let’s start with MOTOLUXE. This new smartphone will basically be flaunting its hip and slim form factor. In addition, the 4 inch handset can also take pride of its 8 mega pixels rear facing camera with auto focus and flash, front facing VGA camera and edge-to-edge touch screen display. The phone will be equipped with a 1400 mAh battery and will come in two colors: white and licorice.
Meanwhile, the Motorola DEFY MINI will be your perfect “life proof” companion. It will be flaunting its sturdy dustproof/waterproof form factor that complements its scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display. Aside from the said specs, the 3.2 inch handset will also be equipped with a 3MP rear facing camera with flash alongside with its front facing VGA camera, 1650 mAh battery and “Instrument Dashboard”. The latter allows you to easily access your favorite outdoor applications.
But that’s not all. Both smartphones will be powered by Google’s ever-reliable Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. Both devices are slated for spring and will be made available throughout the regions of Greater China, Europe and Latin America. No word has been stated about a possible US release though. From what we have heard, both handsets will be packed with exclusive features such as the Social Graph, Activity Graph, Music Now and Smart Gallery. Also, do expect that the MOTOLUXE and DEFY MINI will both be topped with Motorola’s very own MotoSwitch UI. Sadly, we are yet to know how much these phones will cost.
With two new phones in line, you’ll definitely wish for spring to come sooner. Of course, you will have to decide whether you’ll be bringing the MOTOLUXE or the DEFY MINI along with your trek to the great outdoors.
