Would you like to upgrade your Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 to Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich wherein build version will be upgraded to XXKP8. If you do, allow us to guide you through. But before we tell you how, keep in mind that this process can only be applied to the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. Step 1: Download the ODIN 1.83 file then download the leaked Android 4.0.3 ICS XXKP8 ROM . When prompted with a password, key in “samfirmware.com” minus the quotes.
Step 2: Extract the ICS ROM and place the extracted files to your desktop.
Step 3: Launch ODIN.
Step 4: Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S2. Once done, press and hold the Volume Up + Home + Power button to boot into Download Mode.
Step 5: Connect your handset to your computer using a USB data cable. Let the ODIN detect your phone.
Step 6: Click on PDA then select I9100_CODE_I9100XXKP8_CL42141_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5.
Step 7: Click on PHONE then select MODEM_I9100XXKP8_REV_02_CL1092599.tar.md5.
Step 8: Click on CSC then select GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXAKP8.tar.md5.
Step 9: After you have done all procedures from Step 6 to Step 8, click on START.
Step 10: Let ODIN flash the leaked Android 4.0.3 ICS XXKP8 ROM to your device. Wait until your phone restarts. Once done, disconnect the phone from your computer and check your phone’s system information to confirm whether you have successfully upgraded your Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
