So, you got yourAmazon Kindle Fire bricked and you can’t seem to find any good method that could revive your slate’s full functionality. Worry not for we are here to teach you how to unbrick your bricked/semi-bricked slate. And guess what? This method can be applied regardless of your tablet’s firmware version. But before we start with the unbricking process, make sure that your slate’s battery doesn’t go below 70 percent.
Also, we would like to remind you that this unbricking method will make use of the Kindle Unbrick Utility Tool v0.1. Mac users will have no other choice but to borrow their friend’s Windows-based computer.
If you’re all set, you may proceed to the step-by-step instructions.
Step 1: Download the Kindle Fire Unroot tool and save to your computer. Once saved, install the file to your PC.
Step 2: After the installation, open the executable file and you will be able to see something like the image below.
Step 3: Connect your Amazon Kindle Fire tablet to your computer using a USB data cable then select one out of tool’s list of options. There are five in the list and you will have to choose among the following set of options:
1 = Stuck at Boot Logo,
2 = Recovery Loop,
3 = Modified permissions on \system\app,
4 = Messed with framework-res.apk, wallpapers, theme,
5 = If all else fails,
Step 4: You will have to choose the best option that you think can be applied to the current condition of your Kindle Fire. Once you’re done, simply press ‘Enter’ to begin the unbricking process. This will take a bit of time but generally won’t go beyond 10 minutes. After which, the tablet will reboot on its own. Voila! You’re done.
Step 5: There are instances that you may encounter some problems throughout the process. If ever your device enters the boot loop mode, you may need to repeat all the steps that we have mentioned. If you are unsure of what you are doing, better ask for help.
