MIUI redefines Android. In fact, it is one of the most popular custom Android ROMs. In case you want to flash this firmware to your HTC Evo 4G, we are here to help you do so. But before we proceed to the steps, you must see to it that you have already created a backup of your important data such as your messages, media files and contacts. Step 1: Download the MIUI Custom ROM and save to your PC. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB data cable. Copy the ZIP file to your phone’s SD card. Once done, disconnect the handset from your computer.
Step 2: Enable your phone’s USB Debugging Mode by going to Settings > Applications > Development. Select ‘USB Debugging’ from the list of options.
Step 3: Download the HTC Sync Drivers on your phone and install the same on your computer.
Step 4: Disable Fast Boot by going to your phone’s Settings > Power > Fast Boot. Then visit the site where you can find the HTC Beta Key Generator. In the site, click on the link that says “Download for Windows”. The download will start on its own. You will then be required to fill out a form. Once done, click on Generate Key and connect your handset to your PC.
Step 5: Launch the Revolutionary beta application. After which, S-OFF will be gained along with root access and custom recovery image installation.
Step 6: After you move the files, turn off your HTC Evo 4G and boot to Recovery Mode.
Step 7: Select “Install ZIP from sd card” then “Choose ZIP from sd card” to select the MIUI Custom ROM. Do the same for Google Apps Zip file.
Step 8: After you finish the process, select “++++ Go Back ++++” then choose “Reboot System Now” to restart your device. Through this, you will have the MIUI Custom firmware installed on your HTC Evo 4G.
