Black,White & Purple Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR (16GB) Now Available AT $199.99

Sometimes, we just can’t help but wish for a trendier-looking smartphone. It’s not like we’re sick of all those black and white models out there but we don’t really have a choice in terms of colors. Fortunately, the Motorola DROID RAZR from Verizon can now be availed in three different colors: black, white and purple. Furthermore, the phone’s price has been dropped to $199.99 on a two-year contract. If you want to pay outright, you will need to pay the sum of $599.99. Not bad for an ultra-slim handset with 16GB of storage.

Black,White & Purple Droid Razr

Apparently, the phone’s hardware specs and software features remains unchanged. It will still be the same as the black Motorola DROID RAZR that flaunts a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced Display with 960 x 540 pixels of qHD resolution. The phone is pretty sturdy as it is being housed in a reinforced case that can withstand damage caused by dents, scratches and scrapes. The handset may not be equipped with Android Ice Cream Sandwich but you can still depend on its Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS. It is also equipped with a 1.2GHz Dual Core chip that goes along well with its 1GB of LP DDR2 RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Unlike the DROID RAZR MAXX, the DROID RAZR seems to be contented with its 1780 mAh of power cell. It is pretty obvious that the phone’s battery can’t last for 24 hours. We would recommend that you take the RAZR MAXX if you’re too concerned about the phone’s power cell. After all, the modified variant of the RAZR will soon be hitting the shelves and you can get one for a starting price of $299. Though, we doubt that the phone will be offered in purple.

And before we forget, we’re currently having a Motorola DROID RAZR giveaway for this upcoming Valentine’s Day. Just try your luck. You might not need to get one from Big Red.
